I had to start with this one, I tweeted on May 18th.
This is cool.
Acapella done acapella.
A little "pick me up" sent from @techyted
I may be getting a little tired of Nataly's voice, because there is a little too much of the same muted sound, but I feel like this sound she sounds really good.
Because it's funny that these guys did this.
These guys are just such talented musicians. They make me want my piano back so bad.
"With the growing trend..."
Lucky or Unlucky?
Engrish is hard.
Are you kidding me?
This is stupid and crazy.

The Ford Fiesta Could Be My Next Car...
After seeing this:
Techy-Guy-Ted a.k.a. techyted and I got to drive the Ford Fiesta at the Sacramento Auto Show, and both of us had a blast. We were allowed to drive it hard, fast, and wild, just like Jeremy Clarkson. Both of us even tried e-brake slides.
Plus it has Sync.

Pepsi vs. Pepsi Natural Part 1
So here we go. I found Pepsi Natural at Target literally 52 minutes ago. I am so pumped. There were three 4-packs at the Lincoln Target, and I bought them all (one's for you Ted). Now, I'm going to blog about it more than once, seeing how I've blogged about its coming more than once. First, I'm going to compare Pepsi Natural to Pepsi. (A Rabbit trail...my wife is currently pregnant with our second kid and can't ingest as much caffeine as a non-pregnant person, without risking harm to the baby growing inside her. I poured her a caffeine free Pepsi today and set it down next to my Pepsi. I didn't pay attention to which one was which and, well, the taste test happened. Results: NO discernible taste difference between Pepsi and Caffeine Free Pepsi.)
Now for part one of "Pepsi vs. Pepsi Natural." First, while the Pepsi Natural is cooling in the refrigerator, I will go over the ingredients and nutrition facts listed on a can vs. the glass bottle.
On a 12 fluid ounce can of Pepsi the ingredients are listed as:
CARBONATED WATER, HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP, CARAMEL COLOR, SUGAR, PHOSPHORIC ACID, CAFFEINE, CITRIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVOR.
CAFFEINE CONTENT: 38mg/12 fl oz.
On a 12 fluid ounce glass bottle of Pepsi Natural the ingredients are listed as:
SPARKLING WATER, SUGAR, NATURAL APPLE EXTRACT (COLOR), CARMEL COLOR, CITRIC ACID, CAFFEINE, ACACIA GUM, TARARIC ACID, LACTIC ACID, NATURAL FLAVOR, KOLA NUT EXTRACT.
CAFFEINE CONTENT: 38mg/12 fl oz.
Nutrition for both looks very similar except for sodium, total carbs, and sugar. Pepsi has listed:
30mg sodium
41g total carbs
41g sugar
Pepsi Natural has listed:
35mg sodium
39g total carbs
38g sugar
Now that the boring stuff is out of the way, I'm looking forward to the next steps. Drinking from a glass bottle. Tasting Pepsi made with sugar not HFCS. Experiencing a different way to make a great product.
Stay tuned for part 2 later, after the Natural cools for awhile.

In Case You Missed It - McCain is Funny
Saw this thanks to Tech-Guy-Ted's website, but I figured I might have some different readers. Make sure you watch the whole thing, both parts.
This shows a humorous side to John McCain, making it that much easier to do the right think. John first makes fun of himself with such topics as "Joe the Plumber." Then he goes into ripping on Obama, Biden, Oprah, and the Clintons. He continues with making fun of the liberal media, Acorn, and voter fraud.
And as the classy person he is, McCain closes with kind words for Obama, both as a great candidate for the democrats and as the first black man in a presidential election in our countries history.
Go vote and protect our great country from the not so funny Obama Socialist future we'll face under B.O.
Part 1 - McCain
Part 2 - McCain
Obama's speeches...not funny enough to post. Okay, I'll post them in the hopes that you may see a little bit into his personality. In case you are a democrat, and therefore to emotional and naïve to navigate yourself to his You-Tube clips, here they are.
I did like that he mentioned AIG and the $400,000 spent on a Spa trip to St. Regis Resort, even though AIG is taking part in the bailout money. He also makes fun of his name; I guess that's funny too. Anyway, in the pursuit of fairness, here he is.
Part 1 - Obama
Part 2 - Obama
There you go Dan Ray, more politics.
Listen to Sean Hannity. I love his show. You'll worry a little about the future of this country under the likes of Obama, but Sean is a Great American and is doing great things with his show. I only wish more people were able to listen to him. That reminds me, Fox News is not available on the low end packages offered by Dish Network. Stinking liberal company. I want my Fox News.

I Will Survive
I saw Dan Ray do this first and I blew the quiz off. Then Ted did it too, so I had to try. Hmmm. Looks like I won boys. But we have always known, Jimmy the Gun is tough as nails. He'd take a bullet for anyone worthy (that's my wife and kid). Here's my score card.
I could survive for 1 minute, 38 seconds chained to a bunk bed with a velociraptor

BIG 34, Happy Birthday Ted
I've known Ted for more than 13 years. We worked at Round Table Pizza together, made our own home movies with friends (like "The Right Side", "Mad Man Jim", Etc.), and watched every movie ever made. He is a member of the 3104 Clan and a good gaming partner. He's been a good friend for a long time.
I think one of the greatest things about Ted is his ability to fit in with any group of people. Everyone who meets him like him. My parents liked him when I used to hang out with him all the time, and they still like him today. My wife likes him and says she thinks he is one of the nicest friends I have. She likes to talk about how he will clear his dishes after dinner and even rinse them and put them in the dishwasher. I've introduced Ted to other friends of mine too, who now ask if he can come over when we have parties at my house or theirs. People love Ted.
I've been blessed with his friendship and enjoy our long history as friends. Although marriage and having a family take away a lot of the free time I used to spend with Ted, we are still able to pick up right where we left off every time we do hang out. There is not a better friend on the planet.
So happy birthday Ted. I hope you have a great one.

The iPhone 3G

I wasn't going to write an entry on the announced iPhone 3G (or iPhone 2), but after reading Ted's blog about his disappointment with it, I had to comment. Ted made some really valid points. The version 2 should have had some fixes that people wanted. I guess it does have 3G and GPS, but it is the exact same phone beyond that. The rest is software upgrades that version 1 will get too.
The things listed by Ted as missing items are a great list of what should have been done. "An iPhone 2.0 with 16-32GB, video camera, cut and paste, 5.0 megapixel camera" are the things that should have been added, according to Ted. I think MMS would be nice too. What Apple could have done is have 2 models. The iPhone 3G and the iPhone 3G Pro. The pro could cost the same as the original iPhone did ($399 &$499), and have the missing features. The "regular" could be what they announced yesterday.
But, like Ted also mentioned, people like me who do not have an iPhone are going to be getting one of these. It's now affordable, and it's still the best phone BY FAR in the world. I think Apple gained sales from people like me, but they lost sales from people like Ted. First edition users are not all going to be as likely to buy the new one with the small amount of updates. So "yippie" for me, but "booo" for Ted and Apple.
Great post Ted.

Gary Busey Day at Tech-Guy-Ted

3 words people. "METH IS BAD!"
Last time he was "normal" was in Point Break. That's a good movie.
So, here's another moment with Busey. He is actually the "normal" one in this video. Don't give your money away.
I remember hearing that Gary claimed to be a Christian, and if he is, that's great. I have my concerns, but I'm not God and I can't judge the heart.
In an unrelated moment, Drugs Are Bad. Check out the hourly Gary Busey Day moments over at Tech-Guy-Ted.

Fear is the key (1972) car chase part 1 of 2
This is the first part of a video from the 1972 movie "Fear is the Key." This is part one of a sweet car chase scene.
Find part 2 of this awesome car chase over here at Tech-Guy-Ted.
